“My best friend Braedon Hensel was the inspiration for running a marathon and raising money for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre. Braedon was diagnosed with cancer in 2011 and fought his illness over three years and I saw the struggles he and his family faced with travelling to Melbourne for treatment. Even when he felt the sickest, Braedon was happiest being in Albury playing cricket or with family and friends.
