A Welcoming Place for People Diagnosed with Cancer, Their Families, Friends and Carers
The Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Wellness Centre is a warm, supportive space made possible thanks to the heartfelt generosity of our community, the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund, and Albury Wodonga Health.
Located on the ground floor of the Cancer Centre, the Wellness Centre offers a calm and comfortable environment for patients and their loved ones to take a break, relax, or connect with others. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a cuppa, read a book, or simply unwind in the peaceful garden setting.
The Centre features:
- Comfortable seating and relaxation areas
- A garden space
- Laptops and internet access
- Meeting rooms
- Print and scanning facilities
- Complimentary tea, coffee, and a selection of snacks.

Programs and Services
Thanks to an annual investment of more than $350,000 from the Trust Fund, local cancer patients, carers, and families have access to a wide range of supportive programs and services, including:
- Clinical Psychology and Social Work appointments
- Access to local cancer services and information
- Subsidised Voucher Program
- Exercise oncology
- Yoga classes
- Mindfulness sessions
- Short courses for carers
- Art therapy classes
- Women’s Support Group
- The Men’s BBQ
- Free beanies, scarves, cosy blankets and quilts
- Greeting cards
- Lending library
- Financial assistance
- Wig Library (run by Brave Hearts on the Murray)
- Look Good Feel Better Program (run by the LGFB team)
