Cofields releases fundraising rosé
A dove representing the hope and courage of cancer patients has inspired the latest limited edition wine from Cofield Wines.
Ten dollars from every bottle of the Dove Rosé sold will be donated to the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund.
Owner Damien Cofield hopes to raise $20,000 for a cause close to his heart following the loss of his mum, Karen, to breast cancer in 2017.
“This year we have again collaborated with local artist Lisa Bishop, as we found our paths crossed again to raise funds for a project we are both so passionate about,” he said.
“We asked Lisa to create a dove artwork as the dove represents the hope and courage to overcome difficult times of those fighting cancer.
“It is also a symbol of peace for those who have lost their battle.”
This will be the fourth year that the winery has released a special edition wine, with a total of $50,000 raised over the past three years.
Cofield Wines also holds an annual Pink Pedal Party in November which last year raised $20,500.
