Corporate Friends making an impact
AT the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund, we are proud to partner with a range of local organisations to help deliver the best cancer care available for our region.
Partnering with the Trust Fund demonstrates a real commitment to the community, and a drive to make a difference.
Organisations can also be assured that their money stays 100% local to support their family, friends and others in the region affected by cancer.
Trust Fund board member David Baker can see many benefits for his business, Baker Motors, which has been a long-running corporate partner.
“Becoming a Corporate Friend is about partnering for good and creating a win-win outcome,” he said.
“The Trust Fund is able to raise money to enhance local cancer services, and we aim to be recognised as a business that is socially responsible and accountable to this community.
“We are passionate about this special region and happy to play our part through the Trust Fund.
“It’s also a great way to engage employees and create a connected workforce.”
Xypex Australia Managing Director Rob Godson feels organisations have a responsibility to contribute to the community, and the cancer centre is an ideal recipient.
“The cancer centre epitomises what Albury-Wodonga has to offer, servicing regional communities as far as 200km away,” he said.
“I would encourage other individuals and businesses to support the cancer centre because it’s important that if we can, we should.”
