Davis Sanders Homes and Petfocus Vetcare, owned and operated by Albury couple Murray and Renee Pigdon respectively, have become the latest Shine Supporters of the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund.

For over 25 years, the team at Davis Sanders Homes has proudly been creating and building high quality award winning homes with a special, uniquely personal touch.

In 2017, the business took out with Housing Industry Association Awards for Northern Victorian Bathroom of the year, Victorian Bathroom in a display home and Victorian Kitchen in a Display Home.

Petfocus Vetcare is a personable vet clinic and hospital that has been servicing Albury-Wodonga and surrounding areas since 2006.

Petfocus was awarded Winner of Excellence in Innovation in the 2019 Albury-Wodonga business awards for its new species segregated hospital in Wagga Road, and has since added a specialist centre complete with a CT scanner for pets.

After their daughter Georgia, 15, received treatment at the cancer centre last year, Mr and Mrs Pigdon decided each business would commit to becoming Shine supporters of the Trust Fund for the next three years.

“We just wanted to give back because there’s so many people here in this business alone who have been touched by cancer, and our family,” Mrs Pigdon said.

“The whole community benefits from having the cancer centre here and it’s just gold.”
