Bev kicks up her heels for cancer

Every year Bev Vinge from Twin City Stomp kicks up her heels and holds a Line Dancing fundraiser to raise money for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund.

This fun filled event brings together both beginner and seasoned line dancers, with attendees travelling from as far as Mt Beauty, Wangaratta and Myrtleford.

This year’s event saw 4 brave men and 56 women take to the dance floor, enjoying several hours of dancing under Bev’s guidance. With 40 years plus of dancing experience behind her, Bev ensured that there was something for everyone.

This year’s event raised a total of $2,260 for the Trust Fund and we couldn’t be happier! Not only were participants dancing their way to better health, but they were also helping to support the work we do to support our community. A very big thank you to all 60 participants who danced, bought raffle tickets and made a donation. You surpassed the 2023 Donation total by $260!

We are very grateful and look forward to seeing you in action in 2025.

If you are interested in talking up line dancing, Bev holds a Beginners class every Wednesday from 9-12am at the Thurgoona Community Hall. All are welcome, and all you need to do is show up with your biggest smile!
